Wooly is woven from recycled wool, obtained from material scraps from the production of clothing or other recycled wool products. Producing one kilogram of virgin wool generates 9 kilograms of carbon dioxide, while processing one kilogram of recycled wool generates only 0.5 kilograms of carbon dioxide. This results in a positive environmental impact due to reduced water and energy consumption, as well as a significantly lower carbon footprint. Wooly is certified according to the Global Recycled Standard (GRS).

The wool is not dyed with water. By combining recycled clothing yarns in different colors, the textiles achieve their unique shades.
